Gut renovation, turning a 950 SF, 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom apartment.
Role
Responsible for the design concept and execution, project managed the entire renovation.
950 SF apartment in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. My husband and I purchased this new home in September, 2024.
This is a gut renovation, fully designed by me. The concept is a contemporary space with traditional nods - Such as Shaker cabinets and Shaker doors - to compliment the 1950's style architecture of our apartment building.
The work includes dividing the space with a new wall to create an office space, adding a build-in with a bench and storage to the entry hallway, updating the kitchen including all cabinetry and appliances, and updating the bathroom including all bathroom furniture and fixtures.
